Everyone seems to have an environmentally conscious graphic at the bottom of their email signature but I just couldn't attach this one to my email especially since we at Formus Architects were trying to promote our graphic design services. The original is posted below with some other redesign ideas I am working on.

Original {Cons} Conventional and non-progressive font / logo too small / logo not original enough
***

Redesign 1 {Idea} Leaves as a simplified version of the tree represent the environment / blue drop represents ink taken from leaves. {Cons} It looks more like a vase with plants and blue drop which is to also look like water droplet doesn't make sense.
***

Redesign 2 ~ Option 1 {Idea} Printer cmyk level represented by trees being drained everytime you print. {Cons} Not sure. The email test looked great.
***

Redesign 2 ~ Option 2 {Idea} Same as above but with black ink coloring the word ink. {Cons} visually complex.

These are great, I will use! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteAlthough you should make the logo with as little color as possible because when people do print the mail it'll use more resources if your message contains half tones and colors.. ironic really as you want to capture the readers attention but have to do it without the peacock effect. Here's one:
ReplyDeleteWhy? would you want to use valuable resources on our planet instead use your brain and store electronically
These logos are great, very cute and to the point!!!! We've added them to our company e-mail, thank you so much!

ReplyDeletethink before you ink! perfect.
ReplyDeletethank you.
Thanks for the logos. I will use the 'think before you ink' one and hopefully help save a tree or two!
ReplyDeleteThanks for these logos. I was searching a green email signature with originality. I do like those with the trees but they are too big for my email signature. I chose the redesign 1.
