Memphis photographer Terry Woodard is a photographer all local fine art photographers should probably get to know. She has done well enough in the business of selling her fine art photographic prints that her studio houses a high quality large format printer to print her own photography, but she offers printing as a service for other photographers and artists at a good price.
I was introduced to Terry through Deni Reilly, photographer and co-owner of Majestic Grille, to help prepare pieces for my show there. Deni always stressed how Terry, as a photographer, would be sure a print looked as good as she would want her own to be. Colors always came out so rich, she said. In the case of black and white images which I had Terry print, they had a great texture like charcoal on watercolor paper. To photographers who are reluctant to framing due to costs, Terry's mounting service makes it more affordable and more achievable to get large size prints {up to 40 in x 60 in}. You have probably seen some of her work around town for different shows printed that large. It really is incredible in person so I tried my best to show each select piece of her portfolio, which she is sharing with us today, as large as my blog could manage. Terry's studio space is also the location of The Weatherfolk EP release party this Saturday. Come for the party and also see the studio.
