Tasted ~ Lunchbox Eats
Believe the hype. Lunchbox Eats is really that good. After many recommendations and local buzz, I visited the restaurant twice in one week, first dining in and second as take-out, and brought a total of four people with me who all enjoyed their meal. Beyond the cute school house theme, know that the food is not cafeteria food. It definitely emphasizes the idea of the lunchbox, transporting the deliciousness of a homecooked meal held between fresh slices of bread to enjoy away from home. For example, my first meal, the "broken rib bones" sandwich, was essentially a beef stew inside a generously sized grilled cheese sandwich. Below is list of what we tasted with astericks* next to our most favorite items.
