In photography, I find that the most interesting subjects are people, and to me the hardest photograph to take is a posed portrait of regular people who aren't used to being in front of the camera. Sometimes weddings are the only times they are forced to appear on camera. That is why whenever I see an innovative way of compositioning people with full awareness of the camera's presence yet a sense of freshness and spontaneity, I have to add it to my idea notebook.
