Not often do we hear about the positive side of Memphis nor what music can do to make a positive change. Non-profit groups like Watoto Memphis is striving to do both by transforming the youth of Memphis for the better through music education then creating programs like "Welcome to Funzville" to present a positive image of Memphis to the rest of the world. 
Director Donald O'Conner mentioned at the ribbon cutting for their new studio downtown that instead of focusing energy on talking about what's wrong with Memphis, start making actions toward what we are able to do to make a difference. I hope to promote them in anyway I can.
