"July 23, 2010 - Central South Dakota. This storm dropped the LARGEST HAILSTONES EVER RECORED just prior to this shot in the town of Vivian, SD. The record breaking stone measured a whopping 8 INCH DIAMETER and weighed just under TWO POUNDS. Shot at 10mm with a 1/30 second exposure. Extremely lucky to get a lightning bolt out of that."
