LUVMUD 5K Mud Race benefiting Habitat for Hope
This weekend, the first annual LUVMUD hosts a two-day event bringing for the first time a mud race to the area. The 5k course at Shelby Farms will have several muddy obstacles along the route and will end in a grand mud pit. Runners are required to wear costumes, so yes, there will be a judging for best costumes. Over 700 runners are participating, and there is still time to register. Online registration closes at midnight Friday. Events happen rain or shine. Come out and support a great cause. See the schedule below.

ECO Expo & Family Fest -Vendors featuring local ECO-friendly products and organizations, bounce houses for the kids, pre-race registration, and live music.

1:20pm – Mandatory Pre-Race meeting at Main Stage
1:30pm – Divide into waves at the starting line
2:00pm – LUVMUD 2010 Mud Race begins.
4:00pm – Post race ceremony and prize giveaways.

Sunday / October 10 / Trolley Stop Market / 7pm – 11pm / $5 suggested donation
Post-Race Party – The post-race celebration continues at the Trolley Stop Market with an all ages music show from some of the best bands in Memphis. The Trolley Stop Market is opening especially for the party that night and will serve pizza and sandwiches.
