Mosa Asian Bistro - Kitchen to Table

I spent a few days with the truly charming Pao family in their kitchen at Mosa Asian Bistro not just to photograph their food but to help them document their restaurant story and their passion for food. Here are a few shots that include the kitchen to table process and some interpretive photos for the new menu board concepts emphasizing fresh and made to order. Yes, I got to eat some of my favorite meals after the shoot but the best part was getting to know the Pao family. Go visit them. They'll make sure your first visit won't be your last. Thanks so much Michelle, Eddie, Mrs. Pao, Alex, and Laura for having me, as you put it best, "collaborate" with you.

All photos and graphics by Sophorn. Also thanks to Allison and Laura for assisting. Menu board images inspired by Katie Quinn Davies.

  1. Beautiful pictures... I wish Michelle would include some of your pictures on her site and use a lighter online theme instead of such a dark and dreary portrail of her beautiful offerings.

  2. Gorgeous shots, as always.

By the way, when's your trip to France? I've been polishing my French to prep for our trip across the pond next May.. Really just an excuse to read fashion blogs from Paris. Le sigh.
