There have been some incredible purses designed and created from Lucite acrylic but Lucite International is holding a competition to see what new designs can be found from talented designers. They only need up to 3 images of your design sketches or 3-d models to judge. Judges include industry professionals and a jewelry designer familiar with the product. The winner receives $5000! Two runner-ups get $1000 each. Prototypes of the winning designs gets to exhibit in New York City in 2011 with vintage Lucite handbags similar to my favorites above.
