I just could not believe that these were not 3-D renderings but real photos of a built project.
The UK Pavilion designed by Heatherwick Studio for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo has a airy skin made of fibre optic filaments which with its multiplicity and its movement with the wind work to create its "halo" effect.
