I've found something new to crave thanks to local blogger Cheryl of The Stylist Quo. She posts great style, of course, but with a mix of great recipes and always entertaining writing. I must mention too that she is one dedicated blogger as today she posted a really nice FULL review on our lunch date, and I could only squeak out this quick somewhat teaser post and have yet to post reviews of places I've eaten at back in April!
We got to become more than twitter friends over lunch at one of her favorite restaurants in Memphis, Caminos de Michoacan for some authentic Mexican fare. Yeah, they definitely shed new light on my idea of a gordita, a picture formerly painted by my low budget days at Taco Bell. Gorditas here at Caminos de Michoacan are a heavenly breed of a taco and a sandwich. It was that crispy/crunchy corn tortilla that set it apart. How can I thank you enough Cheryl for the suggestion?!
